PhilosophyHuna is a philosophy of life, used by Hawaiian shamans to develop their shaman methods and techniques. These have been helping people to heal themselfes for thousands of years. These methods, based on Huna, first came to Jutta's attention in 1992, when she attended courses lead by Dr. Serge Kahili King and Susan Pa´iniu Floyd. From her own daily work she knows that these - often simple techniques - can be very helpful to positively change the way we deal with our lives. Instead of handing over the responsibility of our lives to "fate" or other external instances, Huna teaches us to "dream" our future and start taking control of our own lives. Everyone perceives himself and his environment differently. Therefore, reactions are not uniform, but indiviual. Problems and conflicts mark disharmony. These tensions sometimes can´t be resolved by our own means. They can become chronic, affecting our lives and causing illnesses. Therefore, the Huna based Hawaiian Bodywork includes relaxing strategies that allow positive changes. Huna requests us to be in charge of our lives. "The world is, what you think it is" and "there are no limits" are key starting points to solve conflicts with acceptance, tolerance and in peaceful cooperation. Love (Aloha) and Power (Mana) thereby constitute the "Yin" and "Yang". Love without power leads to insufficient creative power, while power without love leads to the loss of ability to accomplish long-term changes. The challenge of change lies in the integrated use of "loving power" and "powerful love". |
